Walking Therapy with Dr Louise Hall
Therapy in motion. A return to aliveness.
There is a kind of knowing that only comes when we’re in motion.
Walking Therapy is a gentle, grounded way to explore your inner world—held by the rhythms of nature, and guided by psychological depth.
For six weeks, we walk—together. Just you and me, in stillness and movement. It’s therapy, outdoors. Slow, spacious, real.
Why Walking Therapy?
Sometimes, what we carry feels too much for the chair. Sometimes, to feel alive again, we need ways to find our body, to come home.
This is for you if:
Sitting in a therapy room feels rigid or overstimulating
You want to return home to all parts of you, connecting with depression, anxiety, grief, or emotional numbness parts while being held my nature.
Nature feels like a safe other place for you—something alive and non-judging
You long to come back into relationship with your body, breath, or heart.
Movement has been lost, but you feel it is where you are most at home.
Safe, Boundaried, Trauma-Informed
As a HCPC-registered psychologist, I offer walking therapy with the same rigour and care I bring to clinical settings:
One-to-one, confidential sessions (never group)
Thoughtfully chosen, quiet walking routes
Risk assessments and safety agreements
Sessions proceed at your emotional and physical pace
Contingency for bad weather or accessibility needs

We’ll walk in [insert location e.g., “a gentle route through Hampstead Heath / Queen’s Wood”], always tailored to your needs and comfort.
