Does online therapy work as well as face to face therapy?
Yes, online therapy can be just as powerful as meeting in person — in some ways, even more so. Many people find that they open up faster and feel more comfortable because they’re in a familiar space. Whether you’re at home, at your office, or wherever you feel most at ease, online therapy allows for the same deep, transformative work that you’d find in person. It’s all about connection and comfort, and with online therapy, we create that together.

What can I expect in the first session?
The first session is really about getting to know each other, exploring what bring you to therapy and what you have with you from the past into the present. It’s a conversation where we explore what you’re hoping to explore or shift, and how I can best walk alongside you in the process. There’s no pressure. It’s a chance for us to meet, and if it feels right, we’ll just go from there. If I sense that someone else would be a better fit, I’ll be honest and help you find that person.

How long will I need to be in therapy?
It depends, the type of work I offer is healing from life long wounds, from early beliefs that you are unlovable and unworthy. This is not a quick fix, and it takes time to heal. I tend to work with people for a minimum of six month, sometimes shorter, but often longer. I work three out of four weeks in a month, and some of my people meet more often during my working weeks.

How do I know if you are the right therapist for me?
The best way to find out is to just have a chat. If the things I’ve shared here on my site speak to you then that’s a really good sign. The next step is a free consultation where we can meet and see if there’s a sense of connection. If we both feel like it’s right, then we can begin.

What kinds of therapy do you offer?
I offer therapy that’s deeply informed by relational neuroscience, where we connect not just through conversation, but also by accompany your nervous system to help bring about lasting change. My approach is rooted in self-exploration, where we gently uncover what's been tucked away, whether it's past experiences, old wounds, or stories that no longer serve you. I draw on Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you understand the different parts of yourself and heal from within. At times, we may also use EMDR techniques to process trauma when appropriate. Alongside these, I incorporate mindfulness and psychodynamic principles to help you better understand your emotional world and respond to life in a way that feels more balanced and connected. It’s all about creating a safe space for you to explore and heal, at your own pace.
